  1. Allow signing of manifests with a security certificate

    When I build my Silverlight Xap I need to create it as an in-browser trusted application which runs with elevated trust. To achieve this I have to sign the manifest with a valid security certificate which I purchased from Comodo.

    When my Silverlight Xap runs, it needs this elevated trust to be able to communicate via HTTP with other websites.

    Can you provide this feature in C#/XAML?

    I am happy to discuss funding this requirement with you if you consider it too specialized.

  2. System.Threading.Timer (use webworkers ?)

    We use a lot of Timers in our application, doing all the expensive calculation on workerthreads, using lock statements to sync threads. Altought js doesn't support multithreading with memory sharing, webworkers might be used?

    Building on top of XML serialzation, it would be great to have 100% System.Xaml parity so that the same serialization available in this assembly (along with System.Windows.Markup) is enabled and available for CSHTML5. This includes enabling support for:

    • Custom Markup Extensions
    • XamlServices.Load and Save
    • All default system markup extensions "{x:Null}, {x:Static}, etc." found in WPF/Silverlight5.
    • IProvideValueTarget interface
    • INameScope interface
    • ... and more!

  16. Intelligently Handle/Cache Downloaded .js Assemblies

    Keeping with the idea of supporting Silverlight5 as a baseline. :)

    CSHTML5 is a great idea and fits nicely if it is to be packaged and installed via an App Store. However, in the context of a web-hosted application (from a web server), downloads might take a while, especially on a mobile device (and especially if you refresh the page after downloading).

    This vote ensures that this is accounted for, and that CSHTML5 intelligently ensures that files are stored on the user's device so that when a load (or refresh) occurs, a minimal amount of downloading occurs.
