    Support for this would provide a restricted App to handle HTML to be rendered as part of a App that provides control to specific web sites or embedded HTML.

  6. Enable deployment to IIS (or other host)

    Running locally through the simulator, and thence through a desktop browser is great. The next step is deployment onto local (or remote!) IIS so that mobile devices can be tested.

    We are please to inform you that local IIS deployment is now available in the Beta 5 of C#/XAML for HTML5, which can be downloaded from: www.CSHTML5.com

    The feature is called “Test-on-Mobile-Device”. A built-in local web server lets you easily test apps on mobile devices.

    To use this feature, follow these steps:
    1. Start your project. This will launch the Simulator.
    2. Click “Final version”
    3. Click “Test on Mobile Devices”

    We are please to announce that Linq support has been implemented in the Beta 4.

    The following Linq methods have been added to CSHTML5: Any, AsEnumerable, Cast, Contains, Count, ElementAt, ElementAtOrDefault, Empty, First, FirstOrDefault, OfType, OrderBy, OrderByDescending, Range, Select, SelectMany, Sum, ToArray, ToList, and Where

    Should you need any other methods, please suggest them as separate items on UserVoice, so that other users can vote for them individually.

    We are please to announce that the DataGrid control is now available in the Beta 4 of C#/XAML for HTML5 (www.CSHTML5.com).

    It has all the main features of the Silverlight and WPF versions, including data binding, editable or read-only modes, automatic or manual column generation, support for columns of types text, checkbox, combobox, hyperlink, custom datatemplate, and more.
